I knew Barbara through her grandson, Drew and through the love she had for him. I remember when Drew was born and Barbara was so excited that she was talking to everyone and even to the hospital walls! Drew and she shared a wonderful bond that I hope to have with my own grandchildren years from now. I want to express my sincerest condolences to Drew, to Barbara's children, and other grandchildren.

I will miss your SMILE and positive energy every day my dear friend Barbara, so I am sending you the words that have been helping to lift me up through my sorrow in hopes it helps others too:
Smile
(Music by Charles Chaplin, Lyrics by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons)
Smile, though your heart is aching

Smile, even though it’s breaking

When there are clouds in the sky

you’ll get by

If you smile through your fear and sorrow

Smile and maybe tomorrow

You’ll see the sun come shining through

for you
Light up your face with gladness

Hide every trace of sadness

Although a tear may be ever so near

That’s the time you must keep on trying

Smile what’s the use of crying

You’ll find that life is still worthwhile

If you’ll just

Smile
