Joyce A (Reardon) Dench

Joyce A. (Reardon) Dench, of Hyde Park, passed away on March 29, 2017. She was 82 years old.

Born in Boston, Joyce was an avid seamstress, baker and rewarded Red Sox fan. She enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband, Eugene, to various vacation spots such as Hawaii, and they especially enjoyed their trips to Maine twice a year.  What she loved most of all was spending time with her 5 grandchildren.  Over the years, Joyce and Eugene attended any and all school events, traveling whatever distance was necessary to be there for their grandchildren.

Joyce was the dear and devoted wife of 57 years of Eugene Dench, whom she met in the CYO band at St. Theresa of Avila in West Roxbury.  She was the loving mother of William Dench and his wife Beth of Seekonk and Paul Dench and his wife Beth of Cumberland, Rhode Island.  Loving Grandma of Sarah, Nicholas, Emily, Stephen and Eric.  Dear sister of the late Thomas Reardon Jr. and dear aunt of her loving niece and her loving nephews.

Joyce’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 9 a.m.  A Funeral Mass will celebrate her life at St. Pius X Church in Milton at 10 a.m.  Visiting hours will be held Monday 5 - 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Interment will conclude services at the Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
