Mitchell J. Haddad Sr., a lifelong resident of Natick, passed away on January 9, 2018. He was 94 years old.

Mitch proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II.  After the war, Mitch began what would become a 50-year career working as a Manager for the Bancroft Cap Co. of Framingham.  When not spending time with his family, Mitch was an avid gardener and accomplished home handyman.  He became the patriarch of his large extended family.  Mitch was the one to whom his children, nieces and nephews and, later, grandchildren could turn when they needed something done.  He was a proud Mason of the Meridian Lodge in Natick, a longtime member and Past Commander of the Nicholas G. Beram Veterans Association; and a longtime active parishioner and Past Executive Board member of the Church of St. John of Damascus.

Mitch was the dear and devoted husband of 65 years of Marion (Sabbag). Loving father of John Haddad and his wife Elaine of Medway, Mitchell Haddad Jr. and his wife Patricia of Natick, Linda O’Hara and her husband Michael of Bellingham and Daniel Haddad and his wife Robin of Bellingham. Beloved grandfather, “Jido” of 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dear brother of Alfred Haddad and his wife Marjorie of Arlington and the late George Haddad and his wife Rachel, the late Lillian Khouri and her husband Antoon, the late Jamila Nawfel and her husband Elias, the late Russell Haddad and the late Gloria Matook and her husband Frederick. Dear brother-in- law of Arlene Haddad of Natick. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
