I am so sorry. Grandma Susan and I have been friends on Facebook for many years. Julia has had a spot in my heart and in my prayers since I first saw that precious face. I would start each day with a prayer for Julia, I would think of her smile and my days always got brighter. My prayers are with you all. Rest in peace lil Julia.

Thank you, Kara and Brian, for sharing Julia's beautiful (and BRIGHT!) light with so many, in person and virtually. She (and you) deserved many, many more years together, but like her bravery did throughout her medical battles, her spirit will endure, as well.
Love and heartfelt sympathy to you and the entire Keenan and Rodman families.

Words cannot express my feeling for your loss, nor can they change what has happened. I hope Julia's bright smile and your happy memories of her brief life will sustain you in the coming days. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

We are family, although you do not know me, I am walking with you on your new path. I too am a bereaved parent, my son died at age 10, feeding tube in place. All of us before ,know the new journey, one not electively chosen, a group of people so very sensitive and strong, we have given back a beautiful sweet child.we know the relief of pain, suffering seen in the child's face. We want our children back, yet without the issues. We want to hold and hear our children again.
We can hear them, we can sense them and know the child chose you as her family. Why, because you gave her the best life she could ever have, even with bad. My son at age 2 told me he was here for a short time (he did not know then about his terminal illness), he knew we would allow him to live the day and would let him go when it was time.
So please know, Julia is with many angels, all ready to protect her on the streets of heaven, all ready to let her run and play, all ready to help her live in your heart or be seen as a butterfly,a sunset, or a memory.

The world is a better place due to this bright light having shone even though it was all too brief. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting precious Julia, I was blessed to have known of her through her loving Aunt Heather. Her determination for life against all odds was inspiring and provided light and hope in a world that can often be negative and dark. Her spirit will live on and I hope to transmit that spirit with the children that I work with who so desperately could learn from her perseverance, determination, and drive. With hopes of healing and love~Lori

Dear Family, You do not know us. We were so touched by the obituary of your beautiful daughter Julia Heather. You have the right spirit when you asked people to wear bright clothes. Although Julia was young, she has completed God's mission in life. Someday when you have completed your mission in life, you will be able to join her for all eternity. Until then, know that the bond of a mom and dad with their daughter never breaks. She is safe in the arms of Jesus & whispers your names into His ear every day. One of the many "gifts" of Heaven is the gift of "bilocation". She can be with each of you at the same time even when you are both in different places! Little Julia Heather feels no pain and is in perfect happiness. She can see you, love you and be with you every day and night. Her smile makes everyone want to smile including us! The shortest sentence in the Bible is "He wept." Jesus knows your pain & sees your tears. He will help you through your grief. He promised "I am with you always, until the end of time." And, Jesus NEVER breaks a promise! Know that we will remember you in our prayers, too. God bless & take care, Frank & Raymonda

Dear Kara, Brian, Judy, Jack and Family.........I am so sad for your loss of your beautiful little Julia. I pray that our Heavenly Father will heal your broken hearts and flood you with His peace. She is safe with Him now, toddling around that beautiful place called Heaven, being cared for by the Angels, playing with all the other children, and giving Jesus lots of hugs. Be at peace sweet family, because you will see her again.
