Majid A. “Mike” Hamade, of Brockton, passed away on July 22, 2019. He was 64 years old.
Born in Lebanon, “Mikey” or “Mike the Great” or “Mobil Mike,” as he was known by his many friends, was raised in Monrovia, Liberia. Active in the import/export industry, Mike saw the world, and came to the US permanently 30-plus years ago. He was very proud of his American citizenship which he attained in 2000.
Mike was a very hard worker in the gas station business. He would work tirelessly in all types of weather conditions, making many friends along the way and becoming a staple of his community.
Mike was an avid shopper and traveler, but what he loved most of all was spending time with his family.
Mike was the dear and devoted husband of Juanita (Jimenez). Loving father of Ahmed, Marcel and Sheeren Hamade of Lebanon and Will and Chahine Hamade of Brockton. Dear step-father of Juanita Santa-Maria of Whitman. Cherished grandfather “Jido” of 5 grandchildren. Dear brother of Akaber Asfour, Jamal Chami and Nabiha Hamade, all of Lebanon. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Mike’s will be laid to rest following his Funeral Services in Lebanon.
