Moses Deeb Obituary

Moses Deeb passed away peacefully at his home in South Easton, surrounded by his loving family on December 7, 2018. He was 94 years old.

Moses was born in Saugus and was a proud United States Army Veteran of World War II.  He was a quiet and reserved man, who worked tirelessly for his family and left his heart open to anyone. He was a simple man who was always welcoming and always put his family, especially his beloved wife of 70 years, Nancy, first. He owned and operated Moe’s (Texaco and later BP) Service Station on Robert St. in Roslindale for over 30 years. He was happiest around family, instilling his work ethic in his children and grandchildren and his only complaint came late in life during a hospital stay, when he stressed that he needed to be home to take care of his wife.

Moses was the dear and devoted husband of Nancy (Pittella).  Loving father of Paul Deeb and his wife Cheryl of North Easton, Andrew Deeb and his wife Denise of Taunton, Debbie Deeb of South Easton and Richard Deeb and his wife Debbie of Leominster.  Cherished grandfather “Gido” of Michelle Carroll, Michael Deeb, Gina Haydock, Andrea Valentin, Kimberly Crossley, Alison Tetreault and Kristin West. Beloved “Big Gido” of Madison, Cecelia, Declan, Crewe, Zander, Braylen, Teddy and Landon.  Dear brother of Paul Deeb of Bridgewater and the late Mabel Ferris, Victoria Tranfaglia, Helen Tokarsky, Mary Koeppl, Jennie Stickland, Lily Young, George Deeb and Gloria Deraney. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Moses’ Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 55 Emmonsdale Rd. WEST ROXBURY. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
