Obituary

Paul J. Carroll, of West Roxbury and North Falmouth, formerly of Winchester, passed away on September 28, 2019.  He was 86 years old.

Born and raised in Winchester, Paul was a graduate of Winchester High School, where he captained the hockey team. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War.

Paul worked for First National Bank of Boston for over 40 years and later worked in customer service, part-time, for Lechmere.  He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially his Boston Bruins.  Paul enjoyed traveling and was very proud of his Irish heritage. His travels took him to Ireland, and he enjoyed many trips to Aruba with his family.  What he loved above all else was spending time with his family, especially an New Silver Beach in Falmouth, where they summered for 40 years.  His time with his loved ones was never limited to just vacations, as he loved his role in care-giver to his 5 grandchildren.  From changing their diapers, to picking them up from school, Paul was always there to help.

Paul was the dear and devoted husband of Evelyn (Moussalli) Carroll. Loving father of Mary Ellen Bickett and her husband Thomas of Canton, Laura Carroll of Dedham and Linda Walsh and her husband Michael of Westwood. Beloved Grandpa of Marissa, Christopher, Julie, Elizabeth and Daniel. Dear brother of the late Thomas Carroll and Dorothy Green. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Paul’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday at 9 a.m. His Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
