Rose Ann (Arouchon) Zeghibe, passed away on December 8, 2017, in Westwood, Massachusetts. She was born on August 29, 1933, in Boston, Massachusetts, wife of her beloved William. She is survived by her three sons, Michael and his wife Lisa Zeghibe, and grandchildren Sabrina and Michael Zeghibe of Westwood, Roger Zeghibe of Boston, and William and his wife Niamh Zeghibe of Boston, as well as Ralph Cappuzo of Boston.
Born and raised in Boston’s South End and later settling in Jamaica Plain where she and her husband William raised her sons and was a mother figure to many of her sons’s friends. A successful salon owner who owned salons throughout the Boston and Brookline area where she mentored and encouraged her employees. Universally loved by all who came in to contact with her for her warmth, kindness and generosity. No matter the circumstance, her heart was always open as well as her door. Although she only had three children, she was like a mother to many more. Whether at the family home in Maine or on board the “Sweet William” she thoroughly loved and enjoyed her family and was so very proud of them, especially her grandchildren who she adored. She gave so much love and received so much love back in return.
Rose's Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Jamaica Plain. Contributions in Rose's memory, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Rose was laid to rest with her beloved William at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
