Adele (Coury) Hanna

Adele (Coury) Hanna, of Dedham and West Roxbury, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 19, 2019.

She was born on August 8, 1931 to Eli and Amelia Coury of Worcester.  Adele was married to Frederick A. Hanna Sr. for 37 years before his passing in 1989.  Loving mother of Christine Franz and her husband Vincent, Rick (Frederick Jr.) and his wife Melissa, and Lori Fernandes.  Beloved grandmother of Joseph and his wife Andrianna, Courtney, Frederick, and Alinna.  Dear sister of the late Charles and Albert Coury.  Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Adele's Funeral Service will be held Thursday May 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury.   Visiting hour at the Church Thursday 10-11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Adele’s memory to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org).

Adele will be laid to rest with her beloved Frederick Sr. at The Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
