Alice E. (Esper) Kelley

Alice (Esper) Kelley, a life-long resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2024.  She was 93 years old.

Alice was the dear and devoted wife of the late Edward "Skipper" Kelley.  Loving mother of the late Edward Kelley Jr.  Dear grandmother of Nicholas Edward "Niko" Kelley.  Beloved daughter of the late David and Millie (Abbott) Esper. Dear sister of the late Frances Esper, Freda Franciosi, Charles Esper, Catherine Moseley, George "Rolly" Esper, Marion "Dolly" Corcoran, Florence Esper and Richard Esper.  Alice is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Alice was born and raised in Norwood. After graduating Norwood High School, she worked as a secretary at Estabrook & Co. in Boston's Financial District, and would go on to work at Northrop Corporation.  She was a lifetime, active member of St. George Orthodox Church in Norwood, serving on many committees for fundraising events at the Church. Alice also served her community on the Norwood "Pops Night" committee, and was a founding member of the Norwood Food Pantry.

Alice's Funeral Service will be held Thursday June 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church 6 Atwood Ave. Norwood. Visiting hours will be held in the Church Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment will conclude services at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
