Anna (Munofo) Coyle

Anna (Munofo) Coyle of Roslindale, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on February 2, 2024. She was 83 years old.

Born in East Boston, her family later moved to Roslindale. Anna worked part-time at Filenes in downtown Boston and as a model for 3 years as a young adult. Once she met the love of her life, George, working at Art-Craft Optical Co., he was able to convince her to stop modeling, as the company wanted her to model undergarments. She later worked at Sears in Dedham for over 25 years.

Anna was the dear and devoted wife of the late George R. Coyle, Jr. Loving mother of Alisa Coyle Kallianiotes and her husband Anthony, and Cristina Coyle Pagano, all of Roslindale. Cherished grandmother, “Gram,” of Anna Kallianiotes and Alexandria Pagano. Loving daughter of the late Ignazio and Ida (Carota) Munofo. Dear sister of the late Lucy Restagno, Anthony Munofo, Catherine Munofo, Mary Popovski and Josephine Jurasek. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Anna’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY, Friday February 9, 2024 at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Name Parish at 10 a.m. Visting hours Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

Anna will be laid to rest with her beloved George at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Roslindale.
