Antonietta Barletta

Antonietta (Lavita) Barletta of Roslindale passed away on June 28, 2026.  She was 87 years old.

Antonietta was born and raised in Mirabella, Italy.  She came to the U.S. in the 1960's and worked as a nurse's aide for many years while raising her three children.  She was the dear and devoted wife of the late Carmine Barletta. Beloved "Ma" of John Barletta and his wife Brenda Blight of Litchfield, NH, Carmelina Barletta of Norwood, Pamela Cativera and her husband Jamey of Stoneham.  Loving "Nonna" of Ariana Barletta-Giggi, Angelina Barletta, and Anthony Barletta.  Dear sister of Joseph Lavita, and the late Carmine Lavita, Carmelina Fino, and Maria Lavita.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. West Roxbury Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  Funeral Mass Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church, West Roxbury.  Visiting hour at the funeral home Thursday 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Antonietta will be laid to rest with her beloved Carmine at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
