Charles P. Healy

Charles P. "Charlie" Healy Jr. a lifelong resident of Jamaica Plain, passed away on January 24, 2015. He was 65 years old. Charlie was born and raised in Boston. He had a love of plants, studying horticulture in college, and later working for over 30 years in greenhouse operations at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Charlie was the longtime dear and devoted companion of Janet Curry of Natick. Dear brother of Mark E. Healy and his wife Rita of TX, Christopher M. Healy and his wife Mara of NC, Edna Healy of CA and Francis X. Healy and his wife Marsha of Winthrop. He is also survived by 6 loving nephews and a loving niece. Charlie's Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas in Jamaica Plain on January 30, 2015. Contributions in Charlie's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. 330 Congress St. Boston, MA 02210. Charlie was laid to rest at the Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury.
