Christine Ayoub

Christine Ayoub of West Roxbury passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2014. She was 89 years old. Christine worked as a switchboard operator/receptionist for many years at "The Phone Company", Phillips Petroleum and Texaco. She was very athletic, and enjoyed skiing and bowling for much of her life. She was a longtime active member of the Virgin Mary Society at the Church of St. John of Damascus, as well as the N.G. Beram Veterans Association Ladies Auxiliary. Beloved daughter of the late Salim and Anjoul Ayoub. Loving sister of the late Nicholas, William, George, Joseph, and John Ayoub, and the late Elizabeth Asadoorian and Janet McIver. Christine is survived by her many adored nieces and nephews and their families. Christine's Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. (Rte 135 at Rte 95/128 Exit 17) DEDHAM. Visiting hours in the Church Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Christine’s memory to the Church. Christine will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
