Claire L. (Sessler) McNair of Middleboro, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away 5 days after her 100th birthday on September 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, leaving them with 100 years of love and memories.
Born in Boston, Claire was a resident of West Roxbury for over 58 years. She worked for many years at the Post Office in downtown Boston. She was an avid reader and music lover, always humming or singing. She was a member of the Oak Point Choral group in its heyday. She enjoyed summering in Onset with her sister Rita and was happiest surrounded by her family. There now.
Claire was the dear and devoted wife of the late Francis McNair. Loving mother of Adele Rudick and her husband Richard of Middleboro, Lois Enos and her husband Paul of Norwood, Claire Ann McNair of Florida, Paul McNair and his wife Jeannette of Franklin, Gregory McNair of North Attleboro, Neal McNair and his wife Mari of West Springfield, Karla Priscella and her husband Stephen of Bellingham, and the late Edward McNair and Philip McNair. Loving mother in law of Karen McNair of Pembroke. Loving “Nana” of a plethora of adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the loving daughter of the late Edward Sessler and Ella (McGoldrick) Sessler and is also predeceased by her 4 siblings, including her dear sister Rita Clements.
Claire’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 9 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa of Avila Church. Visiting Hours will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Claire will be laid to rest with her beloved Francis at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
