Donald L. Christman

Donald L. Christman of West Roxbury and FL, passed away on May 9, 2009. He was 85 years old. Born and raised in Fonda, NY, Donald was a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham. He served in the United States Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of Normandy. He was the recipient of 3 Bronze Battle Stars and the Purple Heart. Donald later worked as a salesman for the Raleigh and Miyata Bicycle Companies for over 30 years. Donald was the dear and devoted husband of the late Dorothy (McGovern). Dear companion of the late Helena Tuggle. Loving father of Richard Christman of FL, Kevin Christman and his wife Marianne of Sharon, Lee Christman and his wife Melanie of OH and Lynn Walsh and her husband W. Dennis of OH. Dear grandfather of Cheryl, Mark and Tabitha Christman. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Name Church on Friday May 15, 2009. Contributions in Donald’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
