Dorothy M. (Hanson) Marley

Dorothy M. (Hanson) Marley, Of Dorchester, passed away on January 22, 2021.  She was 75 years old.

Dorothy was the longtime loving girlfriend of the late Martin “Bob” Barter. Loving mother of Darlene Smith and her husband Mark Barter of Raynham, Glen Smith of Boston, Brian Smith of Canada and Arlene Donovan and her husband Thomas of Raynham. Cherished grandmother “Nana” of Alex Smith, Annie, Brendan, Michelle, Bryson, Jimmy, and Carolyn and great-grandmother of Jainar. Dear sister of Regina Dec of Dorchester. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Dorothy’s Funeral Services will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38140.
