Edith Grace (Morin) Sullivan

April 11, 1928 — May 29, 2018

Edith Grace (Morin) Sullivan, formerly of Stoughton, MA passed away on May 29, 2018 in Sarasota, FL.  She was 90 years old.

Eadie, as she was known, was from Jamaica Plain where she grew up with her 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Following her marriage to Bob after World War II the couple lived in West Roxbury for several years and then spent most of their lives together in the house they built in Stoughton. She was very close with her sisters. Few days went by without phoning each other and they were never at a loss for words.

The couple did an excellent job raising three boys having to wait for grandchildren to have girls in the family. Except, of course, her daughters-in-law, that she welcomed with open arms. She loved seeing and spoiling the 7 grandkids.  She has 7 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

Eadie, in what spare time she had, was fairly active enjoying bowling and then later in life becoming an avid golfer which she enjoyed as long as she was physically able to play.  She loved reading and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well.

She was a kind, generous, loving woman who never had a bad thing to say about anybody.  She will be sorely missed by all.

Eadie was the dear and devoted wife of the late Robert S. Sullivan; beloved mother of Daniel Sullivan and his wife Wanda of Florida, Kevin Sullivan and his wife Linda of Delaware, and the late Robert J. Sullivan.  Dear "Grammy" of 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Loving sister of the late Dorothy Evans, Eleanor Doneghey, Albert Morin, Oliver Morin, and Lawrence Morin.  She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hour at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home Saturday June 2, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a procession to the Forsyth Chapel at Forest Hills Cemetery 95 Forest Hills Ave. Jamaica Plain, where there will be a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m., to be followed by Edith's interment with her late husband, Robert.
