Emily A. Hajar, of Norwood, passed away on October 19, 2019. She was 98 years old.
Emily was the beloved daughter of the late Adele and Kalil Hajar. Loving sister of the late Emile Hajar and Salwa Bazzy. Dear Aunt of Paul Hajar, Paula Hajar, Marilyn Hajar Neubauer, William Bazzy Jr. and Joan Bazzy Egan. She is also survived by several loving grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Proud U.S. Navy “Waves” Veteran of WWII, and member of the N.G. Beram Veterans Association.
Emily's Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral 7 V.F.W. Parkway, West Roxbury. Visiting hour in the Cathedral 9-10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
