Emily (Magasy) Morrison

Emily (Magasy) Morrison, a 20-year resident of Falmouth, formerly of Concord, is at rest following a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. Born in the Bronx, New York she moved to West Roxbury at a young age. As a young woman Emily worked at her family's Briscoe's Bakery in West Roxbury. She attended Girls' Latin School, and went on to graduate from the Boston College School of Nursing in 1957. In 1961 she married her beloved Thomas "Sandy" Morrison. They settled in Concord, and soon Nancy, Douglas, and Kristin completed their young family. Emily would remain an active, outgoing member of the Concord community for 30 years. Sandy's career brought the family to Spain for three years, and they proved to be some of the happiest of their lives. Emily enjoyed traveling throughout Europe during this time. She passed away May 10, 2015 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Thomas "Sandy" Morrison. Loving mother of Nancy Milton and her husband Bruce of Canton, Douglas Morrison and his wife Kerry of Andover, and Kristin Morrison of Newton. Dear Grandma of Zachary and Lilah Milton, Louis and Campbell Morrison. Loving sister of the late Olga Murphy. Dear Aunt of Dr. Robert Murphy of Chicago, Joseph Murphy and his wife Sue of SC, Lynne Murphy of CA, and Scott Murphy and his partner Phil Bannister of FL. Loving cousin of Morna-June Morrow of Winnipeg. Emily's Funeral Service was held May 15, 2015 at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home.

Emily was laid to rest on a sunny hillside with her family at the Gardens Cemetery.
