Emmet Michael Bonner

Emmet M. Bonner, of Wakefield, passed away on October 5, 2021. He was 89 years old.

Emmet was the dear and devoted husband of the late Charlotte (Shahood). Loving father of Michael Bonner of Cambridge, Stephen Bonner and his wife Susan of Caribou, Maine and Jeffrey Bonner and his wife Eileen of Beverly. Cherished grandfather “Poppy” of Finn, Nora and Audrey. Dear brother of Joseph Bonner and his wife Ann of Boxford. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Emmet grew up in Medford, was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School and Northeastern University and was a US Army veteran, serving in Korea. He was an accomplished actuary for over 50 years, an avid reader and a competitive road racer turned walker. He enjoyed years of frustrating walks on the golf course and relaxing walks around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, his home for over 50 years.

Funeral Services will be private.
