Evelyn P. (Niles) Pyke

Evelyn P. (Niles) Pyke, of Roslindale, passed away on May 19, 2022, at home under the loving care of her husband of 58 years. She was 78 years old.

Evelyn was the dear and devoted wife of James H. Pyke, Sr. Loving mother of James H. Pyke Jr., Thomas J. Pyke, Brian W. Pyke, and Jeffrey M. Pyke. Cherished grandmother, “Grammy,” of 6 grandchildren. Dear sister of Kenneth Niles and the late Thomas Niles Jr. and Leroy “Bill” Niles. After raising four boys, she followed her dream and became a nurse graduating from Lemuel Shattuck School of Nursing. She cared for the ailing with the biggest heart, finishing her career as a hospice provider.
