Florence Esper

Florence Julia Esper, a life-long resident of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on December 8, 2023.  She was 90 years old.

Florence was the beloved daughter of the late David and Millie (Abbott) Esper. Dear sister of Alice Kelley of Norwood, and the late Frances Esper, Freda Franciosi, Charles Esper, Catherine Moseley, George "Rolly" Esper, Marion "Dolly" Corcoran, and Richard Esper.  Florence is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Florence was very active in St. George Orthodox Church in Norwood.  She sang in the church choir, served as a Sunday School teacher and as the Secretary of the Parish Council, and was a very active member of the Ladies Society.  Florence also served her community as a co-founder of the Norwood Food Pantry.

Florence's Funeral Service will be held Wednesday December 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church 6 Atwood Ave. Norwood. Visiting hours will be held in the Church Wednesday beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Interment will conclude services at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
