Florence Girgosian

Florence Girgosian of Brighton passed away peacefully on November 29, 2012. She was 94 years old. Florence was born and raised in Brighton, and was a graduate of Brighton High School. She worked for the Ford Motor Co. for several years, then began working at law firms in Boston. At the age of 66 Florence was hired by the firm of Brown Rudnick to supervise their file room. Florence meticulously attended to the case files and retired from Brown Rudnick at the age of 86. Always proud of her education and training, Florence was quietly very generous to those who needed help paying for their tuition. Flo was a strong personality who always spoke her mind, but was also sensitive and kind-hearted. She was a life-long learner, read extensively, and enjoyed traveling, the opera, and loved her Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed many summer weeks with family in Nonquitt, Mass. Flo was the beloved daughter of the late Harry and Victoria Girgosian. Dear cousin of the late Ralph Semon and his wife Mary of Lexington. Loving aunt of Jennifer Wallace and her husband Mike of Dartmouth, and the late David Semon. Great aunt of Emma Wallace. Flo's Funeral Service was held December 3, 2012 at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home. The sun shone warmly as Florence was reunited with her father and grandmother, in her beloved Brighton, at Evergreen Cemetery.
