Francis "Frank" J. Ingemi

Francis “Frank” J. Ingemi of West Roxbury passed away on March 28, 2026. He was 96 years old.

Frank was born and raised in Boston’s South End. After proudly serving in the United States Air Force for 8 years, he became a skilled mechanic and co-owner of the Automotive Depot of Roslindale. Prior to his retirement in 1995, Frank finished his career working for Amtrak for 19 years.

Frank was the dear and devoted husband of Patricia (Seekins), his best friend and love of his life. Easter Sunday would be their 70th wedding anniversary. He was the loving father of Anthony Ingemi of Taunton and his late wife Marie, Maria Leggett and her husband Stephen of West Roxbury, Frank Ingemi and his wife Ellen of Hyde Park, and Mark Ingemi and his wife Rachel of Dedham. Dear father-in-law of Lisa Desmond and dear brother-in-law of Bella Cady. Dear brother of the late Anthony Ingemi and Joseph Ingemi. Cherished “Papa” of 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Frank’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery 500 Canterbury St. in Roslindale. Visitation will be held at Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) West Roxbury Wednesday 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
