Gerges N. Al Alam of West Roxbury passed away on February 20, 2026. He was 72 years old.
Gerges was full of life. He loved the outdoors, listening to and watching birds, and fishing and hunting. Above all else, he loved being surrounded by family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Gerges was the dear and devoted husband of Laure (Semaan) Al Alam. Loving father of Glades Nasr and her husband Aziz of West Roxbury, Nancy Elkhouri and her husband George of Norwood and Claude al Alam and his wife Sarah of Foxboro. Cherished grandfather, "Jeddo," of Michel, Nina, Jacenta, Janessa, Ayla, Gianna, George and Malia. Dear brother of Leila Nasr of Lebanon, Jamile Nafaa of Lebanon, Hayat Bassil of Australia, and the late Sarkis Al Alam, Bakhos Al Alam, Charbel Al Alam, Eskandar Al Alam, Mariana Youssef, Moutaha Zaiter, and Adib Al Alam. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Gerges Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday February 25, 2026 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church 61 Rockwood St. Jamaica Plain. If you are attending the Funeral Mass please go directly to Church Wednesday morning. Visiting Hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Because of the expected heavy snowfall on Monday, parking will be very limited. Please plan accordingly.

Gerges will be laid to rest at The Gardens Cemetery on Baker St. in West Roxbury.
