Gladys H. Homsi

Gladys H. (Zahka) Homsi of Arlington, passed away on October 24, 2013. She was 79 years old. Gladys was the dear and devoted wife of the late Deeb E. Homsi Sr. Loving mother of David P. Homsi and his wife Christine of Somerville, Richard A. Homsi of Waltham and the late Deeb E. Homsi Jr. Cherished grandmother “Teh-teh” of Justine and Jacqueline Homsi, Richard A. Homsi II and Brianna Marie Homsi. Dear sister of Arlene Haddad of Natick, Barbara Hamwey of Billerica, the late Robert Zahka, and the late Maryann Hamwey. Dear sister-in-law of Albert Hamwey Sr. of Billerica, Lorice Zahka of Dedham, the late Russell Haddad, Edward Hamwey, and Celia and Edward Mudarri. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Gladys' Funeral Service was held October 29, 2013 at the Church of St. John of Damascus, 300 West St DEDHAM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gladys’ memory may be made to the St. John of Damascus Church School Guild. Gladys was laid to rest with her beloved husband Deeb and and son, Deeb Jr., at Fairview Cemetery.
