Gloria (Tawa) Cahaly

Gloria T. Cahaly formerly of Norwood Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. She was the wife of the late Edward G. Cahaly. Gloria was born on June 30,1932 in Boston.  Family was everything to Gloria and she was lucky to be able to be home caring for husband and four children. She was an exceptional homemaker who kept a beautiful home. Gloria loved to cook Syrian meals, work in her yard, knit, crochet, sew and learned how to make beautiful quilts in her later years. She was also an avid reader. Gloria was most happy when her grandchildren came to visit. She would take them on outings, have special sleepovers and made each child feel cared for and very much loved. The grandchildren all loved their "Tata Gloria".  In 2013 Gloria became a Great-grandmother. Great Tata Gloria was delighted every time one of her great grandchildren came to see her. Family was everything.

Gloria is survived by her four children, Karen Verrochi and her husband Thomas, Diane Ricci and her husband Mark, James Cahlay and his wife Diann, and Michael Cahaly, her grandchildren Christine Noonan, Andrea Freitas, Nicholas Verrochi, Matthew Myers, Peter Cahaly, Andrew Cahaly and the late Thomas Verrochi, Jr. Gloria's 4 great grand children, David, Christopher, Jack and Amelia will miss her terribly. She is also survived by her three sisters, Rose, Violet and Grace as well as many nieces and nephews
