James "Jim" Fagan

Jim Fagan, of West Roxbury, passed away in his home, surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2015. He was 79 years old and was the beloved husband of Patricia (Cloherty) for 57 years. Loving father of Patrice Fagan of West Roxbury, Deb Spillane of West Roxbury, Mary-Ellen Fagan and Dorine Margeson of Mattapoisett, Christine Popson and her husband Michael of CT, Susan Falvey and her husband Kevin of Walpole, and Jim Fagan and his wife Kathleen of Mashpee. Beloved Papa of Brittany, Sean, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Andrew, David, Mark, Owen, Ryan, Scott, Thomas and Matthew. Brother of the late Richard and his late wife Ruth, the late Marie Doherty and her husband Frank, Peg Guzzo and her late husband Jim, Norma Fenzel and her husband Fred, the late Lolly O'Brien and her husband Joe, the late Gus and his wife Carmel, Larry and his wife Barbara, Claire Cahill and her husband Jack, and Linda Laurendeau and Jim Bunton. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Jim was a proud US Army Veteran. He was the owner of Fritz Construction Corp. and was a master skilled craftsman. He enjoyed fishing, and most of all, loved spending time with family and friends.

Jim's Funeral Mass was celebrated June 2, 2015 at Holy Name Church, where he and Pat were married in 1957.

Jim was laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
