Janice (Mudarri) Tahmoush

Janice (Mudarri) Tahmoush, of Watertown, formerly of Arlington, passed away on August 15, 2023. She was 82 years old.

Janice was the loving mother of Frank Tahmoush of Acton, David Tahmoush of Acton and the late Kevin Tahmoush. Dear sister of Shelby Mudarri and his wife Janet of East Falmouth, Barbara Rainville of Oneonta, NY and Richard Mudarri and his wife Mary of Wellfleet. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Janice was born and raised in Allston, MA.  Immediately following her graduation from Brighton High School, Janice went on to Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School where she graduated with honors.  After graduation, she worked at Merrill Lynch, before she started a family.  She was very devoted to her children, and always ready to go out, whether visiting friends and family, shopping or drinking coffee and people-watching in Harvard Square.  Whether discussing movies, literature, psychology or personal matters, she possessed amazing insight which was valued by all. Her friends and family enjoyed her sense of humor.  She was a trusting person and was well-liked.  During her long convalescence, she was always eager to hear about family and friends.

Janice's Funeral Service will be held Friday August 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Janice will be laid to rest with her son Kevin at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
