Jeanne Marie (Naddaff) Handy

May 25, 1934 — February 17, 2024

Jeanne M. (Naddaff) Handy of Foxboro, formerly of Roslindale and Boston’s South End, passed away on February 17, 2024. She was 89 years old.

Born and raised in Boston’s South End, Jeanne grew up in a large loving Lebanese American community centered around Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral.  She attended Girls High School where she excelled in art and math and went on to Boston Business School.

She met the love of her life William Handy, through the church and they were married in August of 1958. They moved to Roslindale where they welcomed and raised their three loving daughters.  Family was the most important thing to Jeanne.  Happily, hers grew by 7 glorious grandchildren, and 6+ delightful great grandchildren.  Always generous and kind, she was a fierce protector of those she loved.

She was a true matriarch, with style and grace, elegance and class. The world is a better place because of her.

Jeanne was the dear and devoted wife of the late William Handy. Loving mother of Michelle Handy and her partner John Alexander of Portland, Maine, Paula Dailey and her husband Jim of Foxboro, and Jeanne Handy and her husband Robert Moldaver of Portland, Maine. Cherished grandmother, “Sitti,” of Joe Loeman and his wife Reaghan, Mitch Loeman and his wife Erin, Jim Dailey and his wife Samantha, Kristen Dailey Holoien and her husband Peter, Bill Dailey and his wife Jenna, Peter Dailey and his fiancée Brianna, and Halim Moldaver. Beloved great-grandmother, “Big Sitti,” of Hayes, Rose, Olivia, Boden, Mae, and Lola. Dear sister of the late Najlah Skuncik, Mitchell Naddaff, Madeline Handy, Frederick Naddaff, Yvonne Habeeb and James Naddaff. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
