Jeannine K. Myers

Jeannine K. “Marina” Myers, of West Roxbury, formerly of Taunton, passed away on May 6, 2009. She was 62 years old. Born and raised in Iowa, Jeannine attended the University of Iowa and was an award-winning accordion player. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Rehoboth Quilting Club. Jeannine worked for many years as a legal secretary dealing in patent law in Boston. She enjoyed spending time with her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Jeannine was the loving daughter of the late Richard and Gloria Myers. Beloved mother of Erin Schiavo and her husband John of Norwood, Maureen Shurtleff and her husband Harold of Taunton, and Richard Hurney and his wife Daniela of Spain. Cherished Grandmother of Domenic, Katerina, Nicholas, Adam, Harold, Cassandra, Alex and Jacob. Dear sister of Jacqueline Mercer of Iowa and Dixie Evans of Nebraska. She is also survived be her loving Godson Walid. Jeannine's Funeral Service was held Tuesday May 12, 2009 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury.
