Joan Louise (Muise) Kaltsunas

Joan L. (Muise) Kaltsunas of Stoughton, passed away on December 7, 2023. She was 64 years old.

Joan was the definition of selfless. She was the first to offer help to anyone and everyone - even without being asked. Her presence alone always felt like a warm hug. Joan loved to spend the summers on the boat with her beloved husband Peter and the winters making the holidays special for her grandkids. If you were fortunate enough to know Joan, even for a short time, you should consider yourself lucky. Her love and light was too strong to ever be forgotten - it will shine bright in her family forever.

Joan was the dear and devoted wife of Peter Kaltsunas. Loving mother of Michael Kaltsunas and his wife Shannon of Burrillville, RI and Nicole Nelson and her husband James of Wrentham. Dear step mother of Peter Kaltsunas Jr. and Stefanie Fillipon, both of Andover. Cherished “Grammy” of Madison, Mackenzie, Mila, Austin, George, Anthony and Sophia. Dear sister of James Muise, Robert Muise, John Muise, Mary Lynch, Johann Muise, Helen Muise, Patricia Baker, Agnes Muise and the late Elizabeth Bodnar, Phyllis Lamey and Annette Campbell. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan’s memory may be made to Compassionate Care ALS 17 Chase Rd. Falmouth, MA 02540.

Interment will be private.
