Johanna H. Van Van Raalte

Johanna H. Van Raalte of Marblehead, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2015 at the age of 87.
Prior to her retirement, Johanna had worked for many years as a nurse's aide in various social services settings, most notably the Crittenton Hastings House and the Home for Unwed Mothers.
Johanna was the dear and devoted wife of the late Marix Van Raalte. She is survived by two daughters and their families: Jeanne Van Raalte-Kline, her husband Michael and daughter Helena of New Hampshire; and Marice Leahy, her husband Sean and children Erin and Jack of Norwell, formerly of South Weymouth. Johanna is also survived by her two sisters Yvonne Noordam and Regina Geenem, as well as several nieces and nephews in the Netherlands.
Visiting hours were held at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home on April 24, 2015. Johanna was laid to rest, surrounded by her family, on a sunny hillside overlooking Hingham Harbor.
