Joseph D. ("Alibaba") Salami, Sr.

Joseph D. Salami, Sr. "Alibaba," of Westwood, passed away on February 8, 2022.  He was 84 years old.

Joe was the dear and devoted husband for 59 years of Muriel (George) Salami.  Loving father of Joseph D. Salami Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Marcia Khan and her husband Alam.  Beloved grandfather "Gid" of Joseph D. Salami III, Maria Salami, Anthony Salami and his fiancee Stephanie Rush.  Great-grandfather of Lily and Rory Salami.  Dear brother of Ann Salami and the late Marie Louise Salami.  Loving uncle of Joseph E. "Jo Jo" Salami and his wife Ginny Rehberg.

Funeral from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. WEST ROXBURY Monday at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral Mass Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church 61 Rockwood St. Jamaica Plain.  Visiting hours Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Masks are required.

Joe will be laid to rest at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
