Joseph N. Bethoney

View Slideshow Joseph N. Bethoney Sr., of Walpole formerly of Boston’s South End and West Roxbury, passed away on March 10, 2010. He was 90 years old. Joseph was the dear and devoted husband of Sally (Zarthar). Loving father of Rose Saba and her husband Robert of Walpole, Naiff Bethoney and his wife Jessica of Lexington, Diane Manley and her husband George of Wellesley, Joseph Bethoney Jr. and his wife Diane Polizzi of Sherborn, Gloria Potenza and her husband John of Medway, Gail Malloy and her husband Rick of Medfield, Peter Bethoney and his wife Joanne of Medfield, and Russell Bethoney and his wife Jane of Walpole. Cherished grandfather, “Jido,” of 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Joseph's Funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Jamaica Plain. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment concluded services at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
