Joseph Anthony Dognazzi

Joseph “Anthony” Dognazzi of Readville, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on December 14, 2017. He was 85 years old.

Joseph was a proud US Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Joseph was dear and devoted husband of Jean (Tierney).  Loving father of Joseph E. Dognazzi and his wife Shelly of Readville and Patricia J. Dognazzi of Jamaica Plain. Cherished “Papa” of Elizabeth Marie. Dear brother of Julia Bossio of Norwood, Thomas Dognazzi of Norwood, Giles Dognazzi of Mansfield, John Dognazzi of Georgia, Alma Giovaniello of Norwood, Kathleen Puccia of Norfolk, Claire Slayton of Canton and David Dognazzi of Georgia. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Joseph's Funeral Mass was held at St. Theresa of Avila Church in West Roxbury.   Contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Joseph was laid to rest in the Garden of Honor at the Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
