Joseph Foley

Joseph Foley, of West Roxbury, passed away December 25, 2015. He was 96 years old.
Born and raised in West Roxbury, Joseph was a proud US Army Veteran of WWII, serving for 5 years, 2 of which were spent in combat in the South Pacific. He loved woodworking and passed along his love of music, specifically classical music and traditional jazz to his children.
Joseph was the dear and devoted husband of the late Doris E. (Belanger). Loving father of Joanne L. West of West Roxbury and the late Kathleen A. Wright. Dear brother of the late William H. Foley.
Joseph's Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Theresa of Avila Chapel on December 29, 2015.

A U.S. Army Honor Guard paid tribute to Joseph as he was laid to rest with his beloved Doris at The Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
