Born and raised in Boston, Katherine was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School and Boston Business School. Katherine was the dear and devoted wife of the late Karl O. Anderson; beloved mother of Kenneth Anderson of West Roxbury, Gerald Anderson and his wife Hannah of Mansfield, and Lawrence Anderson and his wife Sharon of Bridgewater; precious grandmother of Kristin Anderson of West Roxbury, Karl Anderson and his wife Jennifer of Carver, Kimberly Blais and her husband Micah of Holden, Michael Anderson of Brookline, and Brian Anderson of Mansfield; loving sister of Joseph Thornton and the late John Thornton. Funeral from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) West Roxbury Wednesday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Chapel at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. Attendant parking available.
