Lama Dolabany Akl

Lama (Dolabany) Akl, of Florida, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on April 25, 2015. She was 84 years old. She was the daughter of Nabiha (Kas-Elias) and Abdo Dolabany of Zahle Lebanon. Lama was the dear and devoted wife of the late George. Loving mother of Helane Darazi and her husband George of FL, Amal Nassar of Randolph and Abdo Akl and his wife Melinda of FL. Cherished grandmother "Teta" of George Darazi, Monique Nassar, George Nassar, Jonathan, Samantha and Antonio Akl and the late Rania Nassar. Dear sister of Leila Bunai of West Roxbury, Fouad Daoulabani of West Roxbury, Russell Dolabany of Dedham, Souheil Dawlabani of Lebanon, Georgette Daouli of CA and the late Mary David, James Dolabany, Moufid Dolabany, Salwa Dawlabany. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Lama's Funeral Service was held at St. Matthew's Syriac Orthodox Church, 149 Park St. West Roxbury on May 6, 2015.

Lama was laid to rest with her beloved, George, at The Gardens Cemetery.
