Latife Y. (Bouhaya) Makhoul

Latife Y. (Bouhaya) Makhoul passed away on July 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 69 years old.

Latife was the dear and devoted wife of Makhoul Makhoul. Loving mother of Sayde Hanna and her husband George of West Roxbury, Chamel Makhoul and his wife Samar Doumit of Attleboro Falls, George Makhoul and his wife Eliane of Roslindale, and Charbel Makhoul and his wife Rita Douaihy of Virginia. Cherished grandmother, “Tafi,” of 14 grandchildren. Dear sister of George Bouhaya of Lebanon, Georgette Makhoul of Lebanon and Charlie Bouhaya of West Roxbury. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Latife’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church 61 Rockwood St. Jamaica Plain. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Latife’s memory may be made to the Church.

Latife will be laid to rest at The Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
