Leila Abi Fares

Leila Abi Fares, of New Bedford, passed away on December 25, 2020 at age 77.

Leila was the wife of the late Naim Fares.  Loving mother of Elsy Fares Dabboussi and her husband Khaled of Lebanon, Rana Fares Matta and her husband Eddie of Lebanon, Victoria Fares Khouzami and her husband Robert of Stoughton, Jessy Fares El-Tom and her husband Milad of Dartmouth, and Yahya Fares and his wife Dina Macedo of New Bedford.  Dear grandmother “Tayta” of 17 grandchildren and 3 great -grandchildren.  Loving sister of Souad Jabbour of Lebanon.  Dear aunt of Naim, Sousou amd Nassim Jabbour, Malek and Ghassan Fares, and Samia Karam.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private Funeral Service will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in West Roxbury, followed by a private interment service at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford.
