Leo J. Gannon

Leo J. Gannon, of West Roxbury, formerly of Roslindale passed away on April 19, 2023 peacefully at his home. He was 70 years old.

Leo worked for over 30 years as a foreman for Amtrak. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. A true outdoorsman, Leo loved hunting and fishing and was a long time member of the Sharon Fish and Game Club. He was an avid reader who loved reading about history. Above all else, Leo was happiest surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.

Leo was the husband of Virginia (DeBenedictis) Gannon. Loving father of Elizabeth Elkind and her husband Michael of Marlborough, Leo J. Gannon and his wife Kerry of Saratoga Springs, NY, and Daniel Gannon and his partner Theresa Devine of Melbourne, FL. Beloved grandfather, “Grampy” of Zachary and Violet.
