Lila S. (Saba) Ameer

Lila (Saba) Ameer of Roslindale, passed away on July 10, 2023. She was 88 years old and a life-long, avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Lila was the dear and devoted wife of the late George Ameer. Loving mother of Sandra DiBacco and her husband Walter of Norfolk and the late Deborah Leotsakos. Dear mother-in-law of Theodore Leotsakos of Norwood. Cherished grandmother, “Sittoo,” of Christopher Leotsakos, Marcus DiBacco, Jessica DiBacco and Nicole Heena. Great-grandmother of Lila. Dear sister of June David, Robert Saba, and the late Norma Noonan. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Lila’s Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at The Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. DEDHAM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Church Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Lila will be laid to rest with her beloved George at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
