Lillian H. Hamaty

Lillian (Hamwey) Hamaty of Bridgton, Maine, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away on May 9, 2013. She was 91 years old. Lillian was the dear and devoted wife of the late Edward C. Hamaty, Esq. Loving mother of Barbara Ladouceur and her husband David of Granger, IN and Charles Hamaty and his wife Jayne of Bridgton, ME. Cherished grandmother of Edward Hamaty and his fiancé Ginny Gagnon, Kristine Hamaty and her fiancé Ian Biggers and Steven and Katie Ladouceur. Dear sister of the late Charles, Alan and Robert Hamwey and Louise Beaulieu. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. Lillian's Funeral Service was held Tuesday May 14, 2013 at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. WEST ROXBURY. Please make contributions in Lillian’s memory to the Church or to the Bridgton Community Center 15 Depot St. Bridgton, ME 04009. Lillian lived with her son and his family for the last 3 years in Bridgton. She stayed active playing bridge, using her computer and watching the Red Sox. Her family would like to thank Androscoggin Hospice for the wonderful support and Lillian's team of caregivers for their loving care. Lillian was laid to rest with her beloved Edward at the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
