Madeline (Resha) Alizio

Madeline (Resha) Alizio of West Roxbury, passed away on December 11, 2023. She was 83 years old.

Born and raised in Dedham, Madeline was a graduate of Dedham High School and longtime proprietor of Madeline Hairstyles on Washington St. in West Roxbury.

Madeline was the dear and devoted wife of the late Peter A. Alizio. Beloved Mother of Peter M. Alizio and his wife Charlene of Roslindale, Michael Alizio and his wife Jennifer of Bellingham, and Nicole Alizio of Medfield.  Loving grandmother “Sitto” of Matthew Alizio, Michael Alizio II, Christopher Prescott, Nicholas Alizio, and Hannah Alizio.  Dear sister of the late Ronald Resha and Kenneth Resha.  She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Madeline’s Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Dedham. Visiting hour Friday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Madeline’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org).

Madeline will be laid to rest with her beloved Peter at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
