Marie B. (Zagby) Kennedy

Marie B. (Zagby) Kennedy, of Westwood, formerly of Bowie, MD passed away on November 30, 2017. She was 86 years old.

Marie was the loving wife of the late Raymond C. Kennedy to whom she was married for fifty-three years. She was the devoted mother of Charles and Richard Kennedy of MD, and Melissa and Raymond Sayeg of Westwood, MA. Marie was the cherished grandmother "Taita" to eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and is also survived by her sister Janet Metz and brother-in-law Thomas of Mclean, VA as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Marie was privileged to know seven generations of her family.

The Funeral Service for Marie was held at the Church of St. John of Damascus in Dedham.

Marie was laid to rest with her beloved husband at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD on Monday December 11, at 11:30 a.m.  Following the memorial service in Crownsville, MD the family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them for a luncheon to celebrate Marie's life.
