Mary Elizabeth Burke of Florida, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away in Florida on March 3, 2014. She was 89 years old. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Burke Sr. Loving mother of Martha Doherty and her husband Jack of Jamaica Plain, Kevin Burke and his wife Anne of Mansfield, Lawrence Burke of Florida, Timothy Burke and his companion Elaine Chaison of Franklin, and the late Joseph P. Burke Jr. Loving Grandmum of 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear sister of Joseph Manning of Northfield and Barbara Topping of AZ. Mary's Funeral Mass will be held Saturday May 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa of Avila Church. Interment will conclude services at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
