Mary K. (Kawam) Bezreh

Mary (Kawam) Bezreh, of Arlington passed away on August 30, 2018.  She was 96 years old.

Born and raised in Allston, Mary was a graduate of Brighton High School and worked at the Harvard "Coop" Cooperative Society for over 25 years.

Mary was the dear and devoted wife of the late Simon Bezreh. Loving mother of Dr. James S. Bezreh and his wife Christine of Needham, and the late Joyce Bezreh.  Beloved grandmother of Michael S. Bezreh and Matthew J. Bezreh of Boston.  Dear sister of Laurice Karrell of West Roxbury and the late Jeannette Sakakeeny and Frederick Kawam. Dear sister-in-law of Gayle Kawam of SC. Mary is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Very Rev. Antony Hughes will officiate Mary's Funeral Service on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. Dedham. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. in West Roxbury.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will not be a funeral procession from the funeral home to the Church on Tuesday morning.  If you are attending the Funeral Service, please go directly to the Church.

Mary will be laid to rest with her beloved Simon and Joyce at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church 8 Inman St. Cambridge, MA 02139.
