Mary J. "Mary Jo" (Baker) Kemp

Mary J. “Mary Jo” (Baker) Kemp, of Mission Hill, passed away on March 14, 2021. She was 82 years old.

Mary Jo was the loving mother of Jean Berninger and her husband Michael of West Roxbury, Donna Averill of West Roxbury and her late husband William, and Paul Kemp and his wife Elizabeth of Norton. Cherished Grandma of Cameron Arroyo, Brian and Matthew Averill, and the late Liam Kemp. Former wife of the late William Kemp. Dear sister of the late Jean Murphy, Joseph Baker, Ann “Nancy” Baker, and Gerard Baker. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary Jo’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY Thursday at 9 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, “Mission Church,” at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitors will be required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and limit their time in the funeral home.

Mary Jo’s Interment will be private.
